We often read horror stories about the appalling conditions in factories used by UK clothing and knitwear companies. When we were establishing CASH CA we visited some pretty awful knitwear factories and cashmere manufacturers we would never deal with. Indeed we could only find one knitwear and cashmere manufacturer we were happy to work with and so set up a joint relationship with them - which continues to this day.

We also realised by far the best way to have 100% confidence in the standards and conditions of a knitwear and cashmere manufacturer is to become your own, so in 2004 we also set up our own small specialist knitwear manufacturing base in Shanghai. 

Our knitwear factory is positioned to use locally produced yarn such as our superfine merino, linen/silk and fine spun cotton.Our knitwear factory  follows recognised European standards both in terms of quality control and workers conditions and has been recognised recently with an award.
